Dock Graded to Our Standards
Incoming natural cleft is evaluated against our grading standard. Pieces that don't hold their bedding plane, carry excessive cleft variation, or fail color consistency don't ship. Thirty to forty percent of dock volume is rejected.
Hand Sorted Before Palletizing
Every piece is evaluated by hand for thickness, face quality, and color before it goes on a pallet. Solid pallets ship consistent. Your yard receives sorted material. Your crew installs without re-grading on site.
Catskill Formation, New York
This is the original North American bluestone formation, Devonian-age flagging sandstone from Ulster, Delaware, and Sullivan counties, New York. Dense, high-silica, naturally cleft along flat bedding planes. The same formation that built the sidewalks, stoops, and landscape infrastructure of the Northeast for 200 years.

Select blue/gray runs cool and uniform, blue and gray tones consistent across the pallet. Full color carries the complete natural range of the Catskill formation: blue, gray, green, buff, rust, and lilac in natural variegation. Both ranges available in all standard sizes and thicknesses.
